Build a Successful Blog

Blogging is the best way to follow and promote the products in the market. It helps to build a relationship with the buyers and the search engines love blogs.
Ten simple steps on how to build a blog are mentioned below:

You have to be specific. Your niche must not be too specific. You must be passionate about it. What do you want to talk about? and what do you enjoy? Your niche is a great indicator whether your blog will be successful or not.

You can learn how to build a blog in our site DailyBloggingTools.com. If you sign up they will provide free templates. First, the domains end in the blog. Second, you need to follow the rules of the blog. You must have full control over your blog. You can search for more details while searching a blog.

You have to create a domain that will fit your niche.
You have add essential plug ins. This will help you to search engine searches. It will also help you to search the keyword on Google. It will also help you to avoid spam.

Target Market must be known. You have to write to your target market.
Your blog must have good content to make it successful. The usage of “you” and “your” is very much important in your content. You have to speak directly to the reader. Is the article informative? If the reader faces any problem will it help your reader?

To make it SEO friendly, you can use keywords in your article. You must use good keywords. Then you can go to keyword analysis and can make sure whether the keyword is used enough or not. The keywords must be between 1 and 4%. You can use lists in your blogs. This will help your reader to follow you easily. You can catch your reader’s attention with a list.

After writing, you have to submit your articles in different sites. You can search for over 100 article sites in just 20 minutes. You can also submit to Face-book and twitter.

There are two ways to earn from your blog. You can get a percentage of purchase price if anyone buys the product that you have promoted through your links in your blog. The second one is advertisement links which is a site of free membership and can place ads in your site where you can write a review to earn income.

Successful Niche Blogging In 12 Simple Steps (No Stress!)

How does successful niche blogging happen?

Well, it starts with a niche, of course.

Possibly, a niche you really love and have something (plenty of things!) to tell about.

But it also takes planning, committment and relationships with other bloggers.

In this guide, we will show you how to get into successful niche blogging in 12 simple steps.

(Yes, 12! Not one more!)

1. Successful niche blogging starts with… a niche (that you love!)

regret. nothing.
Ed Yourdon via Compfight
That might sounds obvious, but it’s tough to keep a blog running for years if you pick a niche you don’t really love.

And you read that image above right— once you pick a niche you are really passionate about, feelings of regret or to be mistaken or to have chosen the wrong path just don’t happen— you will be driven by your emotions and regret nothing about your choice.

That’s the number one rule for successful blogging made simple: pick a niche you feel really comfortable with, are passionate about and have tons of ideas to share about.

2. You have to understand how niche blogging works

Blogger Jane Sheeba of ProBloggingSuccess.com created an entire blog around this mission— to help new bloggers understand how niche blogging works and how to get started in the process.

The “adventure” you’re about to begin (or you have already begun) is less scary than it sounds— all you need to get started is Step #1 and then keep in mind that

niche blogging is NOT personal blogging (even though you may use anecdotes from your personal life to draw the reader in) and it has to help the reader solve the problems they encounter in their daily life within that specific niche (or industry).

That means you need to be committed to providing:

Quality, trusted and well-researched content
Hands-on, actionable advice
Motivational boosters
Expert citations or interviews your readers need
Once you agree to the above statements and points, you can move on to Step #3.

3. Pick a meaningful domain name and a reliable host

Your domain name should be short and clever, but at the same time meaningful, easy to remember and permanent, because that will become your brand.

We already wrote about the 6 best practices to pick the right domain name and the right hosting provider for your needs (for less than $100/year, too!). Make sure to read these two posts and take note before you proceed to Step #4.

4. Brainstorm your blog essentials: About Me page, Mission statement and Topics

Yes, you read it right: those two pages and blog topics are your essentials— you’re going nowhere without them.

Here’s why:

About Me page – Your users want you know who you are, what you do, and especially why they should trust you. In other words, give them one or more reasons to stick with you!
Mission statement – What is your blog about? Why did you create it? You can go easy style with your mission statement by creating a Manifesto like Carol Tice did.
Topics – Successful blogging topics may include top and low ranked keyword in your niche (see #11 for SEO!) or hot topics in niche forums and social media trends.
Get to work on these three essentials before you proceed to Step #6 — because Step #5 is actually here to tell you a bit more about the About Me page.

5. About… the About Me page

Often overlooked or sloppy written, the About Me page is actually your stronger blog asset, even more than any best Media Kits you may produce.

As we mentioned earlier, your About Me page speaks of three important things about you:

The human being behind the blog name
Why readers should trust what you say
What you do and how it relates to your core message and content
But it doesn’t end there, because your About Me page is also a good place to:

Share photos that add to your credibility as a niche blogger
Share any awards and accomplishments you achieved in your chosen niche
Share links to other blog posts (or guest posts) you’ve written on important topics related to your niche, and why
Add a short Q&A about what you do and your approach to your niche blogging mission
See Henneke Duistermaat’s post on how to write a “sparkling” about page for a fun-to-read, thorough guide.

6. Get a good design for your blog template

A good design is your blog’s first approach with the reader— it has to trigger interest and inspire trust and positive thoughts.

If WordPress is your blogging platform of choice, we have reviewed several free and paid themes over the last year— with interesting designs that appeal to the user.

A good rule of thumb is that your blog template design and color scheme should match your niche.

Keeping the psychology of colors in mind should also be a must to help your readers stay focused on content without distractions or headaches.

7. Write a GREAT first blog post!

Look at Linkarati’s first post as an example. That was something of a great first post!

When you launch your blog, you should do it with a punch— your first post should already speak of the quality you’re going to deliver from now on. We did it ourselves here at BloggingLogin with our first post about the WordPress login system and some security and design tips and tricks.

Show passion, research, interview people (you can do it easily with HARO or MyBlogU), cite other blog posts, websites, research papers and books related to your niche or its broader industry.

Make an impression on your new readers!

8. Write evergreen content

Evergreen content is content that stays helpful and current even with the passing of time.

For example, a blog post about how to grow roses in a small yard is an evergreen post: no matter how much time passes since it first went live, the way to grow roses in a small yard doesn’t change over time.

There’s a thorough guide to writing evergreen content at Web Hosting Secret Revealed and our advice is that you write at least one evergreen piece every two months, so you will have published 6 evergreen blog posts per year.

9. Create Social Media profiles for your blog

You can’t build a community around your blog if you don’t create Social Media profiles for it.

Social Media is where your audience hangs out, shares what they love, get in touch with people who think and feel alike.

Reginald Chan’s post lists the 7 most influential Social Media platforms for bloggers and we recommend you take a look and decide on what platforms to use.

We at BloggingLogin also wrote two guides to setup a business (and isn’t niche blogging a business?) on Facebook and Twitter.

10. Offer an email list, a poll or a freebie

We’re also doing a poll here! See our sidebar ->

Freebies and email lists help connect with loyal readers and turn them into subscribers (be careful how you handle conversions!).

Polls ask for user feedback and every visitor’s feedback counts in order to improve the quality of your blog content.

11. Keep your SEO in check

You should edit your blog posts for SEO after writing. Why? Simply because some search engine traffic doesn’t hurt, whether you love Google (or other search engines) or not.

This guide by Neil Patel explains the basics of keyword research in detail. Check out our organic SEO checklist, too!

12 Keep your passion flame bright!

Do your research and be passionate

If you are starting a blog you have to be passionate about what you are writing about. You cannot start a blog in a niche becuase you think it will make money or it is a niche that is poorly represented by bloggers. Along with a passion for what you are writing about, you have to have the ideas for content. 3 ideas today will not get you far! You need to have 100s of ideas.

— Cassie at All Out Blog

Making Money From A Niche Blog

When it comes to creating niche web sites, many people are confused what the best approaches are to earning money from their blog.

Some blog owners are creative people who like to redesign their blog endlessly to get it just right, whilst others are born writers but do not have much of a clue when it comes to making money from their blog. Many fall in the middle between being someone focused on design and someone who only likes to write. Few people that start a blog are born businessmen or businesswomen.

Google Adsense
One of the best starting points for new bloggers is Google’s Adsense advertising system. Here they accept many thousands of different adverts every day and place them on appropriate websites (and now mobile sites too) which are relevant to the advertiser  Therefore, if you have a blog focused on the best furniture repair techniques, then advertisers looking to promote their own furniture-related business, DIY store and the like, may appear on your site.

In order to get an idea what you would receive from an ad click, you will need to have a Gmail account with Google and access Google’s own keyword research tool. This is located here: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal.

When searching for relevant keywords, you will see a column entitled CPC and this tells you what the advertiser is willing to pay for a single visitor to their own site. The percentages vary for what the site owner will receive who acts as a publisher for the advert on their site, but percentages vary typically from 20-40% of the CPC. With enough traffic and ad clicks, this can add up over time.

Private Advertising
If you wish, you can also trying approaching companies yourself and selling your own ad space directly.

To be successful here, you will need to have developed a blog that is receiving several thousand unique visitors a month, possibly with a Google PageRank of 3 or higher, and it is also good to have visitors staying over a minute or more.

There are also several bloggers that have begun offering their own advertising management services, using their own advertiser list developed over time, and taking a cut of the ad sales they create for your blog.

Affiliate Products
Affiliate products is also a great way to generate additional revenue for your blog. Here you are recommending products to site visitors in the hope that they will make a purchase. You will receive an affiliate code (to identify you) when referring the visitor to the sellers’ site and if they make a purchase then you will receive an affiliate commission.

Commission rates vary from as low as 1-2% all the way up to 70+% for some products listed on Clickbank.

ProBloggingPlan!

I can tell you that it feels great to be taking action instead of just looking and learning (aka surfing the web!) which I have spent more than enough time doing.

ProBloggingPlan was born after a discussion that I had with my friend, auntie and mentor Kelly Stone.  I took advice about three years ago from Kelly and did have some very limited success, the problem was that I was too impatient and got distracted by anything and everything online.  Soon I was suffering from information overload, doing a little of everything and actually doing nothing.

Like so many others online I ended up quitting before I saw any real results.

That was then though and now I am back to stop dreaming and start making results happen for me.  I am now a full time marketer!

Just five weeks ago I thought that my family and I were destined for real trouble (we’re certainly not out of the woods though) as I lost my part time job.  So at a family gathering I got talking to Kelly again and realised that the only reason that I failed at internet marketing last time around was because I was only playing at it.  I treated it like a hobby instead of a business and it showed in my results.

As of August 22nd this year I became a real life internet marketer!

ProBloggingPlan is here for me to document my progress (failings as well as success) and hopefully help others who might be in the same boat as me.  I really hope that you can follow along with me :)

WordPress for Blogging And Why It Works – An Interview With Kari

Is there too much hype around WordPress for blogging?

We think not — if anything, using WordPress as a blogging platform has changed so many bloggers’ lives for the better and we believe there is so much more to say about this wonderful software that revolutioned the history of blogging worldwide.

But this time we are not going to offer you one of our usual tutorials or motivational posts — we have an interview to share.

Yes, we interviewed Kari (aka Bellaisa Filippis) of AttractGetWomen.com. She tells us how turning into a WordPress blogger changed her life and how it improved user experience for her readers.

Our (clickable) questions and Kari’s answers:

Why did you choose WordPress as your blogging platform?
Does WordPress for blogging make things easier for you? Please share your most useful tip :)
Do you/your designer design your WordPress themes or do you have a choice of free/paid themes to go with?
How does WordPress influence good UX in your experience?
Q. Why did you choose WordPress as your blogging platform?

A. Kari (Blogger And Writer)

Kari, Blogger and Writer, tells us about her experience with WordPress for blogging

When I first started online, I used a website platform by Homestead (Intuit Websites). Creating a website with that platform was the most time-consuming thing I’ve ever done. It required you to place everything, from text to HTML, on the page yourself. There were no widgets. There was no header, body, or footer area. I had to drag and drop everything where I wanted it. Then, I found WordPress and my life became so much better!

Q. Does WordPress for blogging make things easier for you? Please share your most useful tip :)

A. Yes! It allows me to quickly add anything I want without having to do much work. Text, images, HTML – it is all so easy to add. I think the most useful thing on WordPress is the plugins. You can pretty much find a plugin to help you do anything that you want to do.

Q. Do you/your designer design your WordPress themes or do you have a choice of free/paid themes to go with?

A. I use both free and paid themes. I have never had one designed specifically for me. Sometimes I find a free theme that I really like, such as Twenty Fifteen, and I stick with it for a while. However, paid themes offer more freedom to create a unique site that is exactly what you want if you don’t know how to add code and create your own.

Q. How does WordPress influence good UX in your experience?

A. Because I have had to physically create my own website, I know how hard it can be to create something that users can read and navigate through quickly. WordPress makes it easy to lay out everything you want your users to find and click through, and to me that is the most important aspect of any website.

Implementing current events is one of the quickest techniques to tap into a hot targeted pool of traffic almost instantly. Blogging is easy, but blogging without any system or without leveraging the huge content pool that is swirling around you is a waste of time.
So how does a person utilize current events to get all of this targeted traffic that is just waiting to go where you direct it?
The key here is to look for hot news items that are trending on the major search engines. There are a couple of ways that you can do this.
One way to discover hot news trends that the vast majority of people are talking about is to use Google Trends.
If you type ‘google trends’ as your search query into your favorite search engine, you will notice a short list on the homepage of ‘Hot Searches’. By merely clicking on any one of the words you will be shown a graph depicting the amount of traffic that term is getting throughout the day.
In addition to the graph you will also be presented with a list of news articles, blog posts, and search engine results created around the issue.
Another way you can uncover some hot topics is to look at the yahoo home page and see what’s trending. Everyday various topics, people and places are listed and all you have to do is use Google’s free keyword tool to get an idea as to how much traffic these terms are receiving.
So how can you utilize this information once you get it?

You can funnel the targeted traffic you get to an offer from clickbank, commission junction or to a cpa (cost per action) offer so that you can get compensated everytime someone fills out a basic form.
With a simple blog traffic tip like this you can practically triple the amount of visitors to your website almost instantly while cashing in with targeted display ads set up on a rotator to prevent your visitors from experiencing banner blindness.

Outsourcing: The Time Management Life Saver

When developing a network of niche or authority web sites, you eventually will reach a critical level that you cannot get past. This is the point where you are writing too many articles for publication on your own sites, penning too many other articles intended for link building, managing numerous blogs and taking care of maintenance will start to be too much for one person to handle. When you reach this stage, the key phrase you should be thinking over is: outsourcing?

Is Outsourcing the Time Saver it is Cracked Up to Be?
Outsourcing comes in all kinds of flavors and types. It can cover systematized blog set up, writing for main earning sites (money sites), satellite sites (that can link to your money sites), SEO link building, design of headers and logos and other services.

Outsourcing Blog Set Up
When using the WordPress blogging platform, it is possible to add a backup plugin like the http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/backup-and-move/ to backup the website. This can have the dual function of saving your site setup in case of data loss, but also makes a .zip file copy of your site installation which can be installed with the click of a mouse on a new domain with a fresh WordPress install.

In this way, it is possible to set up, for instance, an Amazon product review site, and then simply save the blog set up and re-install that on a new domain. From there, it’s quick to change the title, description, etc. and swap out the WordPress theme too. This saves time, but it can also make creating a new site something that can be broken down into steps that an outsourcer can follow.

Outsourcing Content Production
For the site owner, it is only possible to produce so many articles per day, to a good quality. After that, you quickly lose the desire to write more and even if you can produce the content, you will typically see a steady decline in quality. Even with a reduced publishing schedule from daily posts to 2-3 posts per week, when you have too many sites you will max out on time available to produce the content. At this point, you are forced to reduce the posting frequency, reduce the post length, reduce the quality or figure out another solution.

Content rates for native speakers start from around 1c per word. Less than that and the writer will struggle to stay financially solvent. It pays to treat the writer well, because they will stay with you long term and this saves time constantly screening for new writers whilst maintaining writing quality and style consistency over time. Some writers such as financial bloggers offer their own freelance writing services for 2.5-3c per word, which makes a 700-1,000 word financial article cost about $25-30.

It is also possible to outsource to non-native speakers. They offer content for 0.4c per word and upwards, but this is very low quality. The search engine, Google.com, has been rooting out web sites that contain low quality content from non-native speakers and a site owner using such cheap content risks making money this month, but losing all revenue with the next Google algorithm update and then throwing their hands up in the air and asking, “What happened?”

How to Keep Your Motivation High in Your Blogging Career

It is difficult to keep your motivation level high, I know it as I struggle with it countless of times every month in my blogging / internet marker life, even though I love internet marketing and writing. There are days that I question myself if I am doing the right thing or should I be better off doing something else, for example doing a real job or having an employer telling me what to do. So let’s explore where this anxiety comes from and how to tackle each of them one by one.

The uncertainty or the fear

This is the uncertainty of being an entrepreneur, working on your own and for yourself. Many entrepreneurs have this feeling once in a while, when they questions their goals and vision. That’s why being an entrepreneur is not the path for everyone. It’s unclear, it’s risky but also very exciting and fulfilling if you get to do what you love. This uncertainty is even bigger when you are an internet marketer or a blogger, especially if you do not think of it as a real and serious career.

The confusion

Internet marketing is not new, neither is blogging and there is no lack of information on it either. However as there are too many superficial information sources on the topic, it is difficult to know which one you can trust and which advices you should follow. This is why I have established the roadmap which I have followed in building each of my sites and this plan works. You can follow my plan to a Tee or shop around and find one from a reputable website that you feel trustworthy.

The laziness or the procrastination problem

It happens to the best of us. When you are an entrepreneur, especially an internet entrepreneur, there are tasks that even the hardest working person on Earth loathes to do. These grunt work could be keyword researching, building links to your website, signing up social media or forum profiles, etc. You dread doing these repetitive time consuming work so you keep putting it off and do something else instead.

Above are a few biggest reasons why most people who want to start an internet marketing career did not follow it through. But you don’t have to be one of the quitters. After you have learned why your motivation runs low, it’s time to tackle these little buggers and get you back on track!

Have a real business plan with goals, milestones and clear daily tasks. Make your goals concrete and measurable. For example your goal is to have 1000 unique visitors to your website per day after 3 months of working on it or ranking the first position on Google for keyword “X” after 1 month.

Read stories of people who have been successful in the same or similar areas with you. There are plenty of forums that internet marketers hang out and share their success stories and tips. You can for example register to be a member of Warrirorforum or DigitalPoint. After reading the stories, you would see that most of these people did not have an over-night success and their empire was built up after days of hard work and dedication.
Outsource the grunt work: if you feel like you can invest your time more efficiently somewhere else, hire someone to do the work you hate. You can rent a short term assistant to do a variety of tasks or use a service of a freelancer or a company for more specific work.
Have a defined amount of work hours. This is especially important if you have a day job and have to share the time with your online career. To start with, you can commit around 2-3 hours per day for your websites. The predefined time amount makes you more focused and your mind is less likely to wander as you know that this time slot is especially for this activity.
And last but not least, have a little bit of faith in yourself. Faith that you can do this, faith that you will succeed in your venture and finally live the life you have always dreamt of.

Useful Blogging Tips

Blogs are very big. Putting up a blog on the Internet doesn’t have any assurance that anyone will see it. You must generate traffic to your blog. Building a blog for the company’s marketing, there are several techniques and tools to adorn your visibility in search engines and promote the company’s services and offers.
Four important tips that will take your blog to the next level are:
Usability: The essential priority for every client is to have a good experience when visiting your blog and can easily find the information whatever he/she needs. You must select a design on your own that will fit your company brand and must organize it’s structure in such a way that all the important informations are visible.
Speed: If you have a company blog that loads fast you can boost in your search engines. Google helps in speed and is trying for years to make the websites load faster. The speed optimization of the blog is essential. The good techniques that can be used are image compressions, content delivery networks, removal of flash elements, and caching.
Content: Unique content is most important factor for the blog’s success. You can use PR departments and in-house marketing and encourage the visitors to share them in social networks. Vital content will reach you to new clients and will build up the company’s reputation.
Provide anything useful: If you promote your offers again and again, it may not be very useful and effective. You have to create guides, tools, and widgets and must provide the information that will be useful to the client. As it will increase the company’s reputation , it will also bring back your visitors.
Building a blog that has all the songs listed along with the lyrics is also very useful. You can also have a blog that has the videos. You can have another blog that speaks about our personal lives. You can have a time line blog where you can go through the important dates in history such as dates of concerts, song releases, etc.
Optimizing for providing information, usability, and speed that is useful is the steps for building a blog successfully.

Auto Blogging Software|How does Auto Blogging software Work?

Auto Blogging software works by simply installing a plug-in or downloading the blogging software and letting the system do the work. You enter your keyword and keyword phrases, pick which keywords you want to be excluded from the search and then set up how many times you want the  software to post to your website or Blog. The reason you have the option to exclude keywords is so you do not get unwanted articles. Then manage your auto blogging software and make sure everything is correct and do tests runs to make sure you are getting the posts you want. The software will go and get feeds from other RSS feeds and post the most relevant information on your blog relating to your keywords you choose. This is why auto blogging software is  important so you can keep content flowing into your blog and search bots climbing your pages.

Why Auto Blogging Software Works
Now I know you are wondering is this not duplicate content? The answer is yes and no. Yes it is duplicate content because it is from another blog and no because you are adding articles from other peoples RSS feeds and articles with their name on it. You are not claiming to write the post or articles but simply linking to that persons blog. Adding your own unique articles to your blog is very important if you want the auto blogging software to work correctly to rank higher in Google and get traffic.

Unique Articles gives you the ability to go after keywords and get a PR in Google. Of course, the more research you do on your keywords like low competition the more likely you are to get a High PR. Once you have some good keywords bringing in traffic the auto content being posted to your site brings in the spiders to crawl your site and get more recognition by the search engines.

Who Uses Auto Blogging Software

This is a very useful tactic and I hope that you use auto blogging smartly and wisely to increase your traffic. They will tell you everything needed so you do not duplicate your content even though using auto blogging software is not  repeated content because it is a post from another site. Google will penalize you for having duplicate content on your site not having other peoples info on your site.

You have to have related content so you do not get slapped by Google and unique is always BEST.Remember to get your site indexed also before you start to use any automated blogging software. Applying this strategy too early can get you banned from Google and you definitely do not want that. Now Go out and put the auto blogging software to work. See what all the hype is about and start taking the time you use to post to blogs to work on another aspect of your business.

Target Your Content At The Right People

When choosing a topic for your next blog post, you want to consider what your target market is and the players in that market. Many times a post will be written with the silent intention of impressing your peers out there in the blog-sphere. This may score you some bragging rights when swapping late night comments on each others’ blogs, but it often will do little to help your readership.

What Captures Their Attention?
Your readership have a limited attention span and increasingly even more limited time available to read blog posts, RSS feeds, tweets, Facebook comments, etc. There are just too many new streams of information flowing constantly 24/7 for a person to keep up with.

What Are Your Readers Looking For?
Readers are mostly looking for a way to cut through the clutter that is the constant stream of information. They are seeking a a clear voice and guidance in the form of informative posts that directly assist them with their goals.

How Can You Help Them?
Rather than focusing content on impressing your peers, you should instead focus new posts on your readers who visit your blog for ideas, guidance and assistance with their tasks. Take some time to put yourself in their shoes and ask the question:

What Do My Readers Need Help With?

Once you know the answer to that question, you can start to plan posts that will directly answer nagging questions that are present in the mind of your readership. You can plan out a series of posts that will cover a more complex subject, breaking them down into bite sized digestible chunks. These kind of series can bring one time visitors back to your site to read the next post in the series, especially if you have a mailing list set up and can send out email reminders when a new posts is added.

If you do not know what questions your readers need answering, then it is time to set up a survey on your site or to add a post directly asking your readers to post comments with their feedback. Armed with this information, your can plan future posts from the most repeated requests that came in.

Writing Tips
Try to avoid using jargon or technical terms, unless you explain them clearly, and do so in a polite way.

People have been found to scan articles rather than read them thoroughly, so try to break your post down with sub headings, numbered lists or bullet points, where possible. It is also helpful to use a theme design with a good amount of white space, so the look of site is clean and not cluttered; a cluttered look can be overwhelming to first time visitors.

Think in terms of personas when thinking about who you are writing for. Aiming content at everyone is likely to make the content too generalized and it will lack impact. Instead, pick your audience carefully for each post and target content specifically. Obviously, then vary who your posts are aiming at, so that each segment of your audience can find some content that will appeal to them. For this reason, it is useful to try to get as much information about your readership as possible, so that you can begin to build a detailed picture of how your readership is segmented.

For example, if you post something can allow others to comment. Then you can also comment back . This is a great way to help build a blog community. You can also let others create new posts.

The beauty of a blog is that you can maintain from any PC with Internet, wherever you are in the world, or from your smartphone which everyone has now. It is also easy to get photos, videos or music on your blog.

Blogs are used in many ways; for private purposes, business websites, and/or Intranet for example of a company.

Change the Color of Lightbox of Blogger

Today I bring you a tutorial that I think you’ll like it a lot. I wish I was not wrong. But first, what is a lightbox? The lightbox is that box or black frame leaving when we click on the photos to Blogger. You can easily enable or disable.(Settings – Posts and Comments – Show images with lightbox – Yes or No).
And when activated, it goes as we have seen, a box or black frame when you click on a photo. I have it disabled because if you put a very large image, when you click on it you will not be full size, and as usually put screenshots, it is sometimes desirable that you can see them well. However, as in most blogs / cases, is putting smaller images (why we see the two of course not use much space and do not be to pay then and also the blog does not load slow ), then it can be left in place.
In fact most Blogger blogs that I know you have it on. But I see that everyone leaves him black. That is not bad, but hey, I’ve thought that perhaps some, if you know how to change it, you might want to. It is also very easy. Here we go.
Changing the color of the lightbox photo or Blogger
The first thing you must know is that you can change 3 colors. Notice how the area below, where all the other photos of the post if there is more than one in it is a slightly darker tone than the rest. Then, it can be put to a color, the rest of the box of another. And, although usually not seen because it is black as is the case, you can also change the color of the rim of the box.
Thus for example we could put it this way. It’s as easy as copying the CSS code that I have written and change the color or thickness of the flange.

The first, which says “Lightbox bg mask” that is corresponding to the box itself. I’ve put the gray stripes background of my blog. But you will have to change the code that I have set in the color rosette you want.
The second code, which says “lightbox filmstrip” belongs to strip down where all the other photos. And the same. you will have to change the code that I have set in pink color that ye yourselves (I already see that I’ve put a little darker gray)
And finally, the third code belongs to the rim.
Here you can or put the same color as the first (case) to not be seen, as does the black box Blogger placing us by default, or give it a color.
And if you put color, you can change the thickness. The default setting is 2px, but I’ve put 3 in the example. Or in the example above still, the one with the red border, there is 5.
Truth can also change the solid by dotted or dashed etc. as long as all the lines (as we saw in the post on how to put a border around the central column of the blog) but you know I think that the fewer bells and whistles

Blogging for Profit – ProBlogger Book Review

Recommendation: Buy it if you’re a new or intermediate blogger. You’ll be inspired by Darren’s story – it does take time. There are plenty of how tos on the mechanics of starting to blog, but you can skip over those if your already online. Good tips on writing compelling copy and building traffic…which all lead to revenue (direct or indirect). Read below for the full review.
I just finished this book, part of a series of books I’m reading about blogging, email marketing and info products – more on those late. Pr ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income Blogging for Profit   ProBlogger Book Review is the book by Darren Rowse creator of b5 networks and the popular blog how to site ProBlogger.com. His co-writer is Chris Garrett also a prolific blogger. Darren Rowse claims to have made over 6 figures a year from blogging (using Google AdSense), so we can assume they know what they’re talking about.
I read the book not because I want to or expect to make money from a blog via advertising. I was more interested in creating a blog with a high readership that would be a companion to my retail business, GirlMogul.com I have the blog, GirlMogul Magazine, and while I occasionally get a reader or a comment, most of the time I get tons of pharmaceutical spam. Though I do have Adsense and Adbrite on the GirlMogul blog I have not earned a dime from it and after the book I am actually considering taking it down. What did I want to get from the ProBlogger book -tips on building a high traffic well read blog. After all, there is little fun in posting, if no one is listening…
Here’s what you’ll get by reading: A quick overview of the author’s credentials. Darren’s story is particularly heartwarming since it took him well over a year to start making money from his blog(s)…and then it seemed to snow ball.
There are basic tips if you want to make money:
1. Find a niche (this is a common theme on the Internet)
2. Go for a how-to, instructional or focused topic blog rather than a personal diary
3. Post regularly. Expect to build up a archive of posts before you’re taken seriously
4. Advertising only brings in money if you have lots of traffic
5. Write compelling content
6. Write keyword and search engine friendly content
7. Use social networking and bookmarking sites to build your traffic
8. Get links from other bloggers (You’ll learn how)
9. Join the community and visit and comment on other blogs. Don’t immediately expect a link back or a recommendation,
